Hideki Matsuyama given the Prime Minister’s Award in Tokyo

After winning the 2021 Masters Tournament just this past month, Japanese PGA Tour pro Hideki Matsuyama has been given by Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga the Prime Minister's Award. According to Matsuyama, he is very happy to receive such a prestigious award and will work even harder despite these challenging times, referring to the COVID19 coronavirus pandemic. It was Matsuyama's first major title (and green jacket) which is included in his 6 PGA Tour wins along with 8 victories in the Japan Golf Tour.
