Sam Horsfield withdraws from 2020 US Open after testing positive for COVID19

Another COVID19 positive golfer was scratched from the 2020 US Open field, and unfortunately it's Sam Horsfield. The UK-born Horsfield is the 2nd golfer to withdraw his name from the US Open, with Scottie Scheffler being the first. With this unfortunate withdrawal, Horsfield will undergo the required quarantine protocol despite testing negative just last week before making his way to New York. Horsfield has 2 wins on European Tour which was only this past August; the 2020 Hero Open and 2020 Celtic Classic.
