For English pro Jodi Ewart Shadoff, hard work pays off. A testament to that is her 1st-ever LPGA Tour win after 246 starts, winning that 2022 LPGA Mediheal Championship title via wire-to-wire fashion. Shadoffs squandered a 4-stroke lead in the final round but mounted a comeback to defeat Yuka Saso by 1 shot. Late bogeys from South Africa's Paula Reto on #16 and 17 gave Shadoff some breathing room with pars down the last four holes proved enough for her to hang on for the victory at 15-under 273.
