It appears Jon Rahm and Torrey Pines has a mutual connection that nobody has. The Spanish golfer fired an opening 10-under 62, nearly tying the course record to take the early lead at the Farmers Insurance Open. Staying close behind Rahm is Justin Rose and Doug Ghim. Rahm has had a lot of success in Torrey Pines, particularly his first PGA Tour win which is also at the Farmers Insurance Open.
