By the time Darren Clarke set foot at the Hualali Golf Course in Hawaii, he confidently knew he would leave as the winner; and he just did. Clarke's 1st appearance at the Mitsubishi Electric Championship was a great one, winning by 2 shots over 2-time US Open winner Retief Goosen by scoring a total of 195 (21- under). Clarke posted 64 in the final round by scoring 6 birdies, including a 50-foot putt on the 17th. His first PGA Tour Champions win was just 2 months ago, at the 2020 TimberTech Championship defeating legends Bernhard Langer and Jim Furyk by 1 stroke.
