Akshay Bhatia is now a Korn Ferry Tour winner at 19 years old. This was the young man’s first appearance on the Korn Ferry Tour as a full member and eventually won the Bahamas Great Exuma Classic held at Sandals Emerald Bay. Bhatia had a final day of 7-under 65 which was his best round of the week by 3 shots, while the closing birdie was a perfect ending to a bogey-free effort. With the win, Bhatia quickly silenced the doubters who believed he made a mistake turning pro too early.
