Marc Leishman defied the very cold weather to win the Farmers Insurance Open, defeating Spanish professional Jon Rahm. Leishman totaled at 15-under 273 with a final round posting of 65 to snatch the 5th PGA Tour win of his career through a birdie on the 18th hole from 6 feet. Rahm, along with Rory McIlroy and Ryan Palmer, made several bogeys which Leishman capitalized on and came at the top by winning 1 stroke against Rahm.
