Matthew Fitzpatrick has been racking up wins under the European Tour but haven't had one in the PGA Tour. This may be his first as he fired a 1st round 5-under 66, his lowest opening round score, at the 2021 Genesis Invitational at the Riviera Country Club. He's 2 shots behind round leader Sam Burns who finished with 64. Fitzpatrick made an eagle at the #1 to begin with eventually sinking a 43-foot birdie on the 14th and a 10-footer on the 16th.
