It isn't just a simple snake bit that took the life of golfer Lawrence Walters, but a venomous bit of a rattlesnake. Reports say that as Walters was looking for the ball in a tall grass, a rattlesnake bit him in his ankle eventually leading to his death. He was declared dead upon arrival on Spearfish Hospital. The golf course (Black Hills in South Dakota) has now added more warnings specially when going through the course's tall grass area.
