Phil Mickelson will appear at the Genesis Invitational with a new caddie Andrew Getson, his golf teacher. Getson would ‘temporarily' replace Phil's caddie/brother Tim, who cited some ‘lingering injuries' which needs some rest during the week. It was noted that last 2017, Phil and longtime caddie Jim Mackay went separate ways as the latter joined NBC and the Golf Channel as a commentator.
