With Jon Rahm out, Patrick Cantlay wins the 2021 Memorial Tournament

While reigning champion Jon Rahm testing positive for COVID19 that led to his withdrawal, Patrick Cantlay seized the moment and won the 2021 Memorial Tournament. Cantlay defeated Collin Morikawa via playoff rounds by sinking the par on the 1st extra hole, a 12-foot putt. Cantlay, who won for the 2nd time at the Memorial, said that he feels bad for Rahm's sudden withdrawal and if he could just hand him 3 trophies for Rahm's 3 rounds of domination before the COVID19 positive result.
