2022 US Senior Open: Jay Haas, Mark Hensby tied with the lead after round one

Jay Haas is pretty much on the right rhythm, shooting a first-round 67 and beating his age by one at the opening round of the 2022 US Senior Open. Haas is currently tied for the lead with Mark Hensby, who also shot a 67 at Saucon Valley Country Club in Pennsylvania. Haas also became the fifth player in U.S. Senior Open history to shoot or beat his age, joining Tom Watson, Hale Irwin, Harold McSpaden and Jerry Barber. On the other hand, defending champ Jim Furyk scored 71 while Steve Alker posted a 72 on his US Senior Open debut.
