Darren Clarke's mastery of the PGA Tour Champions is just getting started. Clarke, who has 14 wins on the European Tour, won the 2021 Sanford International via playoff rounds beating KJ Choi and Steve Flesch with a birdie on the 2nd extra hole. Both Choi and Flesch had their chance at winning the event but Flesch was eliminated with a par on the 1st playoff hole, and so Choi was eliminated next. On the other hand, Clarke wasn't having a good game either specially at the 18th hole but made sure that he won't miss during the extra rounds, thus earning him his 3rd win on the PGA Tour Champions.
