Former #1 ranked amateur Andrea Lee just won her first LPGA Tour event, by claiming the AmazingCre Portland Classic title on a 1-stroke victory over Daniela Darquea. Lee came into the final round with a share of the lead, but a pair of bogeys on Nos. 2 and 3 got her off to a sluggish start. She closed with a 6-under 66 to finish at 19 under, after rebounding from three consecutive birdies on #'s 5 to 7. Lee is currently on the short list as rookie for next year’s U.S. Solheim Cup team, joining UCLA's Lilia Vu.
