Tokyo Olympics: Jon Rahm out after testing COVID19 positive

It hasn't been a good roll for Jon Rahm as he again tested positive for COVID19, but this time he will miss the Tokyo Olympics. Last June, Rahm also tested positive which led to his withdrawal from the field at the Memorial Tournament wherein he was set to defend his title. He eventually won the 2021 US Open later that month after coming back from recovery. Rahm joins Bryson DeChambeau as notable golfers who will miss the Olympics due to COVID19, missing the chance at a gold medal.
