This wasn't the day for #1 golfer Jon Rahm as he posted 1-under 71 at the 2021 Fortinet Championship in Silverado Resort & Spa in California. Rahm was 11 strokes behind current leader Maverick McNealy, and was 2 strokes short after 36 holes eventually missing the cut. Rahm said that it wasn't the stomach illness that he suffered last Wednesday the led to his missed cut, but pointed out his ball-striking wasn't good enough after hitting just 11 greens out of 28.
